Frozen Fear

Stop, pause, pulse, stop—
Dip into depths,
Light bounces off snow to its death.
How can it be thus kept?
It cannot, a futile attempt.
Within the pauses feel
Nothingness disappear.
Hidden thoughts domineer:
Excitement frills with fear.
Live, remember, forget, why?!
This moment explodes anew
With love? for you
But I cannot let it continue.
“When I’m gone, who will you torment?
Will you be able to erase my memories?”[1]
